Well done those kids! I have indeed, in the days of AlterNation I had many a shout out from DJ eug

On a scale of 1-10 how content are you with your life?
silentNate
10-05-2016
6.

You??

9.5 I've learned to be satisfied with what I have. It's very liberating

My neighbour has got a new flat to move into in only two weeks However, it has no open fire so he's given me his axe...much bigger and sharper than mine!

Do you own any tools that would cleave a burglar's head off no problem?

I've got a chainsaw that would do the job. Mind you, I'd have to plug it in first (and possibly adjust the chain tension) and the burglar would have to remain very still.

In my blood-donating days I was very careful to look away from the bag containing my precious blood. Do you do the same?

I have got a claw hammer - and electric Drill
and I have got some big sharp Cleaver knives in the kitchen

When I was 16 at my first clerical job - I would not dare look - on the first and last time I donated a bag of blood
I got so faint - but they gave everyone from our office - a cup of tea and a biscuit
afterwards

I later discovered that I fainted so often in those years
as I always had very low blood pressure
The doctor once looked very concerned and had to get me to lay down to get a more acceptable BP reading

If not eating any bread whatsoever for a whole week resulted in you losing a good amount of weight
- would you refrain from eating any bread for a whole week ??
EStaffs90

If I lost "a good amount of weight", I'd become anorexic. So no I wouldn't.

What do you think of Meghan Trainor pulling her altered video?
silentNate
10-05-2016
I think Meghan is just after publicity

Give up bread?? I think I could, crisps would be another matter though

I own a baseball bat and a katana

Poor Cliff Richard has had these awful accusations resurface in the press again, don't you feel sorry for him??
twassington

I think she's quite right. Why the hell should she be photoshopped if she's not happy with it? Bruce Willis's daughter Rumer recently criticised a picture where her jaw had been substantially reduced [she has got a very large jaw] but she is as she is, and wants to be depicted as she is, not how some photo editor thinks she should look!!

Edit: Sorry, for Pilchard? You must be chuffin joking! Guilty. As. ****

I can deal with blood, mine or anyone else's. Legacy of the past few years

I would NEVER stop eating bread! Bread is the stuff of life, right?
silentNate
10-05-2016
It's actually bad for blood sugar levels and weight gain

Poor Cliff... even his biggest fan has abandoned him in his time of need

Were Level 42 rubbish??
tanstaafl
10-05-2016
Were Level 42 rubbish? Well, I'm afraid that a question like this is full of unanswerable philosophical nuances and the knowledge required is well above my pay grade (starting with 'Who the hell are Level 42?') that I am afraid that I shall have to pass.

What percentage of pub quiz contestants would fail to answer the above question?

PS Shuffles feet and pulls pedant cap well down over forehead. Bread is the staff of life.
twassington
10-05-2016
Folks older than 60 and younger than 25.

Ever won a pub quiz?
ChoccyCarole
10-05-2016
No = I have never done a pub quiz

Have you won any / or done any ??
twassington
10-05-2016
I used to go every week back in the day, with a group of others. We managed to win a number of times, the pub would be packed with about 20 teams so it was quite an achievement to come first!

Our weak point was questions about TV soaps, as none of us watched any

What is the weakness in your general knowledge?
silentNate
10-05-2016
Geography

I have won many quizzes

I hear there is a video game about zombies where you play as an 11 year old girl who gets bitten by a dog and you have to sneak into someone's house to get needle and thread after which the game has you suture your injury!!

Is this type of game acceptable??
twassington
10-05-2016
Hell, anything goes these days

If you could design a game, what would it be?
silentNate
10-05-2016
I would design a game about a crooked banker who kills people... American Psycho!

Would I get sued??
twassington
10-05-2016
More than likely.

I'd design a game where thousands of pigs chased Cameron with the sole aim of ....well you can work it out right?
silentNate
10-05-2016
Doesn't Cameron chase after pigs, not the other way round??
tanstaafl
10-05-2016
I don't believe he ran after them. They were dead at the time that he made their acquaintance, weren't they?

Do you feel that American bacon is fried far too crispy?
silentNate
10-05-2016
Erm... I think crispy bacon makes better BLT sarnies.

Squeezy Cheese??
twassington
11-05-2016
Ack, no thankyou....the vilest of processed cheeses followed by the orange plastic wrapped cheese slice and then the triangular Dairylea. You are dealing with a cheese snob here. It's got to be PROPER cheese!!!

I'm sure the pigs would love the chance to get their revenge. They can hunt him down, slaughter him and enjoy themselves with his carcass. Although a few eager beavers likely got there early and ........maybe that's enough for this hour of the morning

Never mind the pigs, will the people of Nigeria and Afghanistan be baying for his blood today?
silentNate
11-05-2016
The Nigerains I know are furious, would be fun to be a fly on the wall while Cameron grovels!

What's for dinner??
twassington
11-05-2016
Curry and salad. I made some soup but it's very humid and warm here....not really soup weather.

Do you own any exercise dumbells?
silentNate
11-05-2016
Yeah. They is heavy too

Did you know they turned The Omen into a TV show?? Did you deliberately keep this from me??
