Yes! My mother used to put an empty yogurt pot and a stone out and had asked the milkman to put them on top of the bottle when he delivered, but sometimes the crafty birds managed to tip them off and still pecked a hole

No. I remember having milk deliveries though

Have you seen many pretty flowers on your travels ??

SO many! All the blossom trees are out, lilac, Hawthorn, Magnolia, fruit orchards all blooming here in Kent, honeysuckle, clematis, wildflowers such as buttercups, daisies, dandelions, forgetmenots, cowslips, campion...even my rosemary bush is in flower!

Wallflowers and poppies are also growing on all the old stone walls hereabouts.

I won't be going to Europe this summer and I'm too old for a bun in the oven methinks So not really. It seems the dodgy summers in Blighty means it's too cold here for the tropical mozzies that carry Zika.

It's when you attend an interview and are told you are going to be employed....then you hear no more from the company and are just blown off when you call or email. Becoming a common problem apparently.
