It certainly is. It's the county I have holidayed in most during my life and both the coastline and countryside is glorious......and nowhere near as far to travel as Cornwall from London!

I just ventured into the junk room/glory hole and looked at it with the eyes of someone else and saw what great piles of crap I have in there. I need to get rid of a LOT of it. Do you ever have these moments of clarity when surveying your possessions?

No

My back bedroom is full to the brim with " Many great things and more great things "
I could give lots of it away to the Cat or Dog Charity Shops - as I have
**** always done in the past **** - when they come each time and load up big van loads of my stuff

** The things I may actually be "able" to part with ** - is all such good stuff
[ Mostly brand new and unused Clothing and lots more assorted stuff ]
&
The idea of getting £££££something£££££ back
for a change appeals to me

but I have never ever sold anything on Ebay
& I don't know anyone who is capable of doing it for me

Gradually taking lots of it >>>>>> to some car boot sales ------ could be an option
but I know from experience in OZ that people only want to spend an absolute pittance
------- for really !!!!!! expensive and good stuff ---------

What would you do ??

I'd sell it on eBay. It's not that difficult Choccy....you just have to factor in the postage and packing. Or, you say it is for collection only so only folks in your area would buy it.

I've just discovered Iceland now sell frozen ready cooked Octopus! Did you know they sold that?

Do you always turn the page of your wall calendar on the first of the month, or is it usually a few days in before you remember?

I've won prizes but never first prize.

Just found out a friend's OH has left her and she's devastated I am too far away to do anything practical but send love. Don't you feel helpless and inadequate at such times?

I hope things turn out well ~ for your friend soon
Breaking up is such a very sad griefy / bereavement if you don't want it to end
Even if you are the one who chooses to leave a relationship it can be very sad

Have you had your dinner yet ??

twass - I'm sure she will cope a lot better than she might imagine though

Someone I know left her beloved golf-playing husband many years ago and she is doing just fine alone in her cottage full of Cliff Richard records

If your child smashed a £10,000 exhibit would you give them a darn good spanking??

That would depend if they smashed it on purpose or it was an accidental smashage.

Another friend who lives close is trying to call but she won't pick up

There are NO WHIFF PILCHARD records in my cottage!!!! But she will be much better off without him because he was a total see you next Tuesday. To be sure I never looked back But it was me that did the leaving and it's easier if you made the decision and are not the one being left .......

Why does Farage always say things twice? Or does he have his own personal echo?

Fromage finds his own statements so incredulous that he says them twice just out of astonishment that he can get away with it
