Seems the taxpayer will be footing the bill for the BHS closure and staff redundancy payouts.......should we all get some free BHS stuff in return?

They are saying he will receive a whopping chunk of dosh as one of the major creditors At the very least, he shouldn't take that money and put it back in the pot. He has a MORAL responsibility and should be made to make amends. If not, sling the git inside for a few months!!

Yes - hay fever.

Why is it called hay fever, when it's neither an allegy to hay nor a fever?

There never are many in Summer. I think they assume we all get lives in Summer and are hanging out in pub gardens or similar instead of watching the box

I liked Versailles but it didn't have me at hello so to speak.

I do look forward to the return of Twin Peaks Did you watch that back in the day?

I truly enjoyed Twin Peaks back in the day.

Currently, I am watching Penny Dreadful. It's a brilliant reworking of many public domain characters from 19th-century, including Dorian Gray, Victor Frankenstein and his monster, Dracula, Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, witches and phantasmagoria.

Which classic movie 'monster' is your favourite

Got to be Dracula! I didn't even know Penny Dreadful existed.....I take so little notice of the tellybox as 95% of what's on it is pants. I would love that. What channel is it on??

I think it's on Sky Atlantic but its into its third season so there will be box sets available.

It weaves together gothic origin stories and is marketed as a frightening psychological thriller.

Do you scare easily?

Not at all.

I just encountered a bowel and rectum lying intact on my lawn, with a nearby fragment of skull with an eyeball still attached and a lot of blood smeared on the grass. Mr Fox has been hunting wabbit again it seems! Nature red in tooth and claw.....I found it oddly fascinating. I didn't know they dissected out the bowels before eating. Did you?
