don`t remember too many slaps and hidings...just indifference..at least on my mothers part. In the light of hindsight I can see that she was probably damaged from her upbringing, miners daughter during the Great Depression.......So , thesedays , I think differently...just wonder why she adopted me She really couldn`t be bothered and i was used like a skivvy. She was a good age when she adopted me , you`d have thought she would have mellowed....
