When I was much, much younger I used to play tennis fairly regularly We had a small number of tennis balls that were used time and time again until they were completely bald.

When you play table tennis do you try to be clever and put spin on the ball?
twassington
27-06-2016
Yes, my dad taught me the slicing motion with the bat to put topspin on. He made a fold out table tennis table that we could play on balanced on the dining table top....I loved ping pong!

Can you skim stones over water?
silentNate
27-06-2016
Yep

My parents sent me to one of those tennis academies as a child. Hate the game now

Last time you played table tennis??
twassington
27-06-2016
On holibobs in Turkey.

When did you?
silentNate
27-06-2016
Three years ago when playing my FIL, thrashed him

Ever play badminton??
twassington
27-06-2016
I did when I was young. I remember leaving the badders place with two pals, one black one asian. That's when I saw racism from other asians towards my asian friend, because she was associating with a black man [our other friend] Being young it hadn't previously occurred to me that racism happened between other races rather than white on black. I'll never forget that and what they called her

I was cr@p at badders, were you any good?
silentNate
27-06-2016
Nope

En-Ger-Land are out... as one poster remarked, 'Hogson was the only man with a clear plan out of the EU'!

Last thing you laughed at??
tanstaafl
27-06-2016
IDS pathetically denying that the £350million lie had anything to do with him.

Last thing that made you cry?
silentNate
27-06-2016
Waking up to find that the UK was over

Who will resign next??
twassington
28-06-2016
Hopefully the queen!

Well, there are to be no second chances, it is what it is. We all have to make the very best of it that we can now. Stiff upper lips chaps! Remember we are British

When your credit card bill arrives are you horrified or pleasantly surprised or do you actually know what to expect?
silentNate
28-06-2016
Don't get a bill, it's all online these days

Always know what to expect

Last movie you watched??
twassington
28-06-2016
Me Before You at the cinema with my pal a couple of weeks ago.

I never seem to know what to expect. Usually I am horrified and this month I am pleasantly surprised

I see Jeremy Hunt is considering going for PM.....would he be even more hated and reviled than Cameron?
silentNate
28-06-2016
Most certainly. I feel sure it will be Theresa May though

Do you own much Ikea furniture??
twassington
28-06-2016
None at all.

The papers all seem to think it will be Bowwis. As for Labour, they all seem to have gone bonkers. Have they forgotten the huge majority by which Corbyn won the Leadership? It hasn't evaporated!

Your box of tricks is chocker again I see

Most unusual pet you've ever owned?
silentNate
28-06-2016
My wife used to have a parrot!

Seen this??
twassington
28-06-2016
Yes, saw that earlier....quite right too! Much better use of the money

If you could have a city break anywhere in the world, where would you go?
silentNate
28-06-2016
Brussels

twassington
28-06-2016
Florence.

tanstaafl
28-06-2016
Mrs T and I had a couple of days there a number of years ago. Interesting, but I wouldn't want a fortnight there. When Mrs T looked out the window and said that it looked a bit dry I had to explain, as tactfully as possible, that we were in the middle of a desert!

We spent about a dollar each on gambling. Should we have spent more like, say, $10 each?
hooter
