This is the polar opposite of the correct message. Turing should be forgiven not because he was a modern legend, but because he did absolutely nothing wrong. The only wrong was the venality of the law. It was wrong when it was used against Oscar Wilde, it was wrong when it was used against Turing and it was wrong when it was used against an estimated 75,000 other men, whether they were famous playwrights and scientists or squaddies, plumbers or office clerks.”

That is why it was wrong

Is it right to end the right to buy??

Yes, to protect the less affluent who need housing.

Agree entirely with the link. I was saying to mini twass in terms of sexuality just how much the world has changed since the war, beyone all recognition, and thank the gods for that much at least. Still a way to go but getting there!

Pieces of eight!! Back from the hospital walk in centre. Fortunately no bones are cracked or damaged but looking like tendonitis. So got to rest and do nowt. Easier said than done living on your ownsome Did score some hardcore painkillers but I will save those for when really needed. Like the festival

In the waiting room was a young soldier with only one leg and one arm He wasn't there for that, obviously but made me count my blessings.

How often do you count yours?
tanstaafl

Frequently. After the 'why is this happening to me' I consider all the far more horrendous things happening in the world which rapidly puts things in perspective. Following which I start pondering the problem of the existence of evil if there really is a loving god. (Well, occasionally. )

If we are as we are because of nature and nurture how can anyone be condemned as evil.
silentNate

I think leaving off the question mark to a question is ebil!!

Most peeps have a moral compass, the whole philisophical debate on the nature of ebil is probably for another thread.

Did you go to a religious school??
