Sour cream with chilli is also the rools. And guacamole!

Opened the back door to a cool, wet morning with a distinct Autumnal smell. Is summer almost gone?

Ah you just think you do. Remember that many mothers are nosy, interfering old bags who lecture you about bad habits, won't lend you money and write you out of their wills for ill behaviour

Suppose you ended up with one of those???

Not to me, but a young girl saw an old guy drop a fiver and she ran after him to give it back. Also saw a homeless young guy being offered support and advice by a lady earlier today, really listening to him and so nice to see as often it's like the homeless are invisible.

Going to invent a dish of roasted veg, smoky paprika and prawns with rice later.....sound good?

King prawns of course! Lidl's finest Mini twass and I are prawn fanatics

It's cooking....smells divine. Prawns go in last. We're salivating

Glass of chilled rose with that?

Not without feeling a bit faint.
PS "cutting edge surgery". I hope the nice piece of word play was deliberate.

Do you own a scalpel? I do.

I have a set of stitch-cutters but no scalpel aside from the one I used to used for modelling which is a tad blunt

Would you accept an MBE??

No, because that's what they hand out by the bucketful to the hoi polloi. When's the last time you heard of a politician being awarded an MBE? The least I would accept is an OBE aka Other Buggers' Efforts.

Do you feel that you should be in the House of Lords?
