Still at work but have veggie chilli waiting at home.

Do you like your chilli in a bowl or on a plate??
twassington
10-08-2016
In a bowl. It has to be a bowl of chilli. Them's the rools!!

Grated cheese on top?
silentNate
10-08-2016
Oh yes

Soured cream??
hooter
11-08-2016
Nope.....

Fancy a coffee?
twassington
11-08-2016
Yes please hoots, although I do have a full cuppa tea here....I will have the coffee for afters

Sour cream with chilli is also the rools. And guacamole!

Opened the back door to a cool, wet morning with a distinct Autumnal smell. Is summer almost gone?

I WANT A MUMMY
twassington
11-08-2016
Ah you just think you do. Remember that many mothers are nosy, interfering old bags who lecture you about bad habits, won't lend you money and write you out of their wills for ill behaviour

Suppose you ended up with one of those???
silentNate
11-08-2016
I have ended up with one of those... mine would write me out AND still have me as executer of the will!!

Black guy accosted me in Vauxhall... wanted to give me something that had dropped from my pocket!!

Last thing someone nice did for you??
twassington
11-08-2016
Not to me, but a young girl saw an old guy drop a fiver and she ran after him to give it back. Also saw a homeless young guy being offered support and advice by a lady earlier today, really listening to him and so nice to see as often it's like the homeless are invisible.

Going to invent a dish of roasted veg, smoky paprika and prawns with rice later.....sound good?
silentNate
11-08-2016
Sounds delicious

Prawns or King Prawns??
twassington
11-08-2016
King prawns of course! Lidl's finest Mini twass and I are prawn fanatics

It's cooking....smells divine. Prawns go in last. We're salivating

Glass of chilled rose with that?
silentNate
11-08-2016
I love rosé so yes!

Favourite type of wine??
twassington
11-08-2016
Probably rose first, then red, then white.

Watching cutting edge surgery on Supervet

Can you watch such things?
tanstaafl
11-08-2016
Not without feeling a bit faint.
PS "cutting edge surgery". I hope the nice piece of word play was deliberate.

Do you own a scalpel? I do.
silentNate
11-08-2016
I have a set of stitch-cutters but no scalpel aside from the one I used to used for modelling which is a tad blunt

Would you accept an MBE??
tanstaafl
11-08-2016
No, because that's what they hand out by the bucketful to the hoi polloi. When's the last time you heard of a politician being awarded an MBE? The least I would accept is an OBE aka Other Buggers' Efforts.

Do you feel that you should be in the House of Lords?
twassington
11-08-2016
No, I would feel very out of place

The wordplay wasn't deliberate at all tans, it just happened

Is an Aardvark the wierdest crittur on the planet?
silentNate
11-08-2016
Have you not seen the Aye-aye (Daubentonia madagascariensis)??
twassington
12-08-2016
Oh the one with the long pointy finger!!! Yes that's a strong contender. And not forgetting the duckbilled platypus

I've not checked the news yet. Do I need to brace myself or is all well with the world for once??
silentNate
12-08-2016
Still a news cycle dominated by the Olympics

Did you know reading a book for over three hours a week could add years to your life??
