On the continent the men think nothing of that, I've seen no end of Frenchmen whip out little Jean-Claude and empty him wherever they fancy!!

I have been known to up my hours....*cough*....and falsify my annual leave days.....

Why don't managers keep a much closer eye on such things like it is their job to do?

No not many..... I know Margaret Street very well! The problem with Canterbury is, there are ridiculous numbers of pubs. And while they all have toilets clearly the punters don't recognise the urge til they start to lurch off home

I only know of one public loo in the shopping centre part of town. The quainter old town....you need to go in the pubs or cafes to use facilities. For a town always heaving with tourists it aint good enough!!

Do you imagine London's any better?

I think it's an indoor day for sure, hoots. They did have some whopping marrows going begging but as I am off to the festival next Thursday, only bought what I could use. Got a lovely big container of mixed fresh tomatoes including yellow ones, brown ones, red ones, cherry and plum for a quid, lots of Victoria plums, a pot of raspberry and redcurrant jam and a big bunch of Dahlias. They had lots of other veg that I wasn't in need of too Beats the endless war against the wabbits!

About to make rhubarb crumble....have seen at the festival I am off to they will be selling a rhubarb and custard cider!!!!! Would you try that?

My answer would probably be along the lines of "Over my dead body!"

What's with all these flavoured drinks and ciders? I blame the Belgians.

It's not very windy 'round here, but it is noticeable.

I'm against violence in all its forms

A sea of camping shizz is now piled in the cottage along with the tent and our huge trolley for lugging stuff. Four days to go and I'm ready

Do you sort everything for holibobs well in advance or throw a few items in a bag at the last minute?

hoots - Thrown stuff away when on holiday that I shouldn't have bothered with. I tend to travel light but bring a ton of rubbish back
