No, I hear they are mostly run by mad old Scotsmen

I just had a baby bird in the house He just arrived on the chair arm and looked at me. Took about twenty mins of trying to get him back outside again. There's a nest above the kitchen window, reckon he was one of theirs, only just about flying.

Ever had a bird fly inside your place?

yus......and down the chimney too.

The Doves From Above are nesting in the apple tree again , second time this year... Quite amusing seeing the `nest`, 20 twiglets thrown together. Earlier this year there were two of their youngsters spying on me when I hung the washing out.

Wonder wot they thought as they spied on me?

That's a strange old bird

My little bird was very confused by the house. Tried to land on my vase of flowers which gave way under his weight and he fell on the table!

It's dark already, how did that happen ??

'sfunny but the shortening of the days never fails to catch Mrs T by surprise ever year. I try to explain about solistices and equinoxes, but all to no avail.

If you look at a graph of daylight hours versus time you will find it is very roughly a sine curve with maxima and minima at the solstices and points of inflection at the equinoxes. Remembering your school maths you will realise, of course, that at the solstices the length of daylight is changing most slowly with respect to the date whereas at the equinoxes it will be changing most rapidly.

PAY ATTENTION AT THE BACK OF THE CLASS!

Did you realise this? There will be a test on this next week.

They may be... cats have a habit of returning however

Me: Sorry, I don't do FB... went to vote and it requires an account
Them: Yeah, I had to make an account. Its fine, I don't expect someone to make a FB if they don't have it
Me: It is annoying I know but FB just sucks the life out of me
Them: I think I had an old account once, I only went on it to annoy someone
Me: lol
Me: Never had one, then saw an old message on my Gmail account saying I tried to open one in 2013... I was probably drunk!
Them: Congrats on dodging a bullet
Them: Or dunkingly stumbling out of the way of a bullet I suppose
Me: More like drunkenly putting the gun in my mouth!!
Them: Guess it fired a blank
Me: I miss Netscape... t'interwebs has been downhill since!
Them: No idea what netscape is, I guess I've only been on the internet sense its decent
Me: Ouch! Back in the day t'interwebs was only science & tech geeks... the more it expended the worse it got. Sorry
Me: Our bad
Them: It doesn't matter, it can only get worse. And thats apart of the fun
Me: T'interwebs killed music, movies, films & relationships... how bad do you imagine it will get??

THey talk in hushed tones of the DARK WEB. Maybe it will be the end of mankind as we know it. Already it prevents us going out into the world and living, in real life terms. It has its benefits but the downside is also there. Pretty much like everything in life. A balance between dark and light

I'll have four internetless days while at the festival. I can't wait! The phone will also die first day so I will be blissfully incommunicado. Do you enjoy being cut off from the modern world or does it stress you out?

PS...cat wandered back in about 1am this morning ...spent the night asleep on me bed..........think I might have to get a bigger bed

Oh how tempting it sometimes is to disconnect the phone! Less so the wifi....I likes the internet

Cats will consider everything in your house belongs to them. EVERYTHING!

What's the last DVD you watched?

Well I managed to avoid the whole Olympics other than ten minutes fencing cos my friend's son was in it.

When do the Paralympics start?
