I did watch some of the last Paralympics, oddly enough since I don't watch the other Olympics. But it was inspirational in an entirely different way if you get what I mean.
Made a lovely beanburger with cheese, tomato and lettuce. What's your dinner? |

Ahem......homemade chicken pie and a toffee dab
ever had a toffee dab ? You uses yer leftover pastry. .....roll out pastry in strip about 8 inches long. Dab on butter , sprinkle on some brown sugar..I had to leave this bit out , sprinkle on some currants and fold one third over onto the rest ,then bring other third into the folded over bit. Brush with egg and bake.Mine was a bit crumbly cors I made mine with grain free flour.......it don't behave like normal flour and can be a bit challenging to work with, especially if you is naturally cack handed like wot I is

yus..really nommie. But not for me ...well, only on rare occasions now
![]() Toffee dab is just a way of using up left-over pastry. This grain free flour is a bit hard to work with , but with the addition of a little cocoonut flour is quite tasty....but can`t have that often either ![]() Glad the lympics is over? |

Difficult to judge, I'm sure sports fans enjoyed it and only time will tell if it gave Brasil the boost in tourism it hoped for. I know that while London felt it's Olympics was a success Athens regrets it's Olympics

This is why I no longer struggle with growing my own hoots. It's a battle we are never going to win. I'd have done a few more parsnippages

Mini twass reckons so. You'd think ordinary cornflakes, being made of maize, would be gluten free but apparently not
