Yes I am. People misuse antibiotics and also they are fed to animals which means they get into the food chain. Antibiotic resistance will only get worse.

Are you fed up with being used as a guinea pig with forum format changes? I can't understand why the changes aren't tested in advance and , preferably, by volunteer forum users!

Yes chins, WE'RE ALL FED UP with logging on to find yet another fiasco. If it's not black blinking borders it's gingham tablecloths, and now another dose of let's go back to the 90s

Are DS going broke?

Maybe they cannot afford to support the forum side of things.

Will you buy the book 'The Shining' or borrow it from the library? I found the book is actually better than the film and has a satisfactory ending as opposed to all the chaos at the end of the film!!!

I loved the film!!! Jack Nicholson's finest hour I did read the book many years ago, maybe I should have another read....

Should I join my local library....which is an old bus that trundles round the villages?

It is always a good idea to join the library. I remember the van used to come round in Billericay when I was young and I got a lot of pleasure from reading the books. Why not read it again? Well worth a second visit!

Do you like bright sunny, but chilly winter days?

Netball mostly, and lacrosse. Footy and cricket in the street with the boys but at school girls got herded into the more "feminine" sports

My rear tyre is almost flat Will I be able to hobble to the petrol station and stick more air in?

Well, I have to admit to being a bit of a pig. It's chocolate that is my downfall and also going out for meals.

I used to read all the early Stephen King books and loved them, but at the time Salam's Lot really frightened me. I went to bed thinking that zombies would be scratching at the window and trying to get in!

How is Mini Twass now? Glandular fever is horrible. I had it in 1980 and thought I was never going to get better. It was about six months before I felt any good again. It needs nursing carefully because it is a thing that can lead to things like Epstein Barr Syndrome or M.E. in the long term.

It's as dark as night here and has been all day. Do you think it will snow before the weekend?

I hope not!

Mini twass has just been dropped off my her dad, and is getting in her PJs ready to be cosseted by moi. Gluten free ginger cake is in the oven and stir fry prawns with chilli and garlic for laters. That will sort her out!!!

When did you last bleach your sinks?

They're done nearly daily when I disinfect the outdoor cat bowls.

Do you wash up in the sink or a bowlie?

(Some ginger cake with custard would be just the ticket, ta )
