He was the Bishop of Durham but very forward thinking and hated by Thatcher for his support on the miners

"York Minister was struck by lightning and burst into flames just days after his consecration in 1984. The events led some to believe that the fire was a sign of divine wrath in outrage at his appointment as bishop."

Did you used to enjoy Spitting Image??

Yes I loved it. Especially the hideous Thatcher puppet!

I do remember something about him now. One of the better ones

If they made Spitting Image now, would the Theresa May puppet look very much like the Thatcher one?

I think they would have to be more clever than that... if I were writing it I would have her being haunted by Thatcher as a hideous ghostly figure with the blue suit covered in cobwebs. May trying to give speeches with Thatcher's ghost behind her prompting her to say more and more right-wing things!

Would that be funny??

That would be genius and hilarious! You have to go into Spitting Image production immediately

Maybe a Bowwis puppet with a big dagger in his back and a Gove running around bleating that he'd make a great PM?

Out of so many greats, it would still have to be Beetlejuice.

Would you say it three times?
