I'm not a fan of pickled eggs. Or pickled onions.

Have you had any good news today?

Yes - I'm just hoping the Sun's right (for once).

If they are, how long should it be until I start stalking him?

Is it good that Universities are going to test "name-blind" admissions for the first time to stop potential discrimination based on assumptions about students' names??

The heating engineer cometh.

Have you ever, after some company saying that the engineer will be there between 9am and 6pm, actually have him turn at 9am rather than 6pm?

PS Note the 'him' rather than a 'them'. In all my years I have never, ever had a female engineer turn up to do a repair. What this means, I'm not quite sure.

They do usually seem to come at the end of the possible time period rather than the start....yet SOMEONE must get the early slots!! I've never had a female turn up for plumbing or electrical or heating work either. Yet.

Do you instantly hang up on cold callers or leave them wittering on?

Nope - but then I doubt the question was aimed at anybody in general.

If she hasn't already done so, how long will be before Taylor Swift writes a song about Tom Hiddleston?

She's over him and likely already eyeing up the next victim. Why would she write a song about him?

There is a theory that all of her decent songs are about splitting from either one man or another. I'm sure it is highly Loki that she will have found another sucker by now

Our sea bass was from Tesco
