Medium - if you consider 5ft 4 medium for a woman.

Do you know anybody taller than Purple Aki?

I do actually, a chap who had an allotment near my ex husband was 6 foot 8. He was HOOGE. Had the most massive hands and feet!

Not seen him now in many years though.

Did you hear Bake Off will no longer belong to the BBC but be on Channel 4?

These things happen. I was well into Lost when it disappeared from, IIRC, Channel 4 and reappeared on Sky, or somewhere.

Have you had a series you were watching swiped by another channel?

Only seen one Chuck Norris movie and that is when I snuck in as a wee kidder to see some film where he single-handedly won the Vietnam war (Missing In Action??). I was quite impressed but to be fair I was very young!

Favourite action hero??

I had a third hand plum coloured bike which my dad tarted up with black and white checkered sticky tape. Aged about 14 I hadn't ridden it for a while [got it aged about 9] and found it was missing.....Dad had given it to the Sea Scouts for their jumble sale because he thought I had grown out of it.....WITHOUT ASKING!

Did your childhood things get given away or passed on without your consent?

Not all of it hoots but a great deal. I still have my old teddy and my Etch a Sketch [most prized toy]. And quite a few books including one that was my Dad's. I had a lot of my granddad's books too, but lost those

Have you survived this swelterous day in one piece??
