Yes, when soft and ripe they don't need anything else...other than black pepper.

Beautiful afternoon here, just the right temperature and glorious sun. So much better than the scorching days last week.....this feels like Autumn sun and so it should.

It sometimes feels that way, especially when driving! Folk with any manners at all seem in the small minority

I wish peeps were more open to conversation as folk are up North...or even in the Midlands! Southerners are horrified if they accidentally make eye contact never mind if you speak to them, when they look aghast. Have you ever tried to chat to a stranger on the Tube?

No but I have had bubble gum in it...as a kid. Mum used to chop the bits out with nail scissors.... the result of me putting in four Anglo Bubblies at once and blowing a bubble as big as me head

Always. Onions are not refrigerated, out in a dish with the garlic. Spuds are in the bottom drawer of the fridge in the dark in paper bags.

Some of us have waistlines to consider! To be fair, usually they stay in the packet with a clothes peg over the end to keep them from going stale. Back when I lived with Mr Twass [a huge consumer of biskwits] and had the kids to feed, I had a tin that needed refilling several times a week And always kept a few sugar lumps in it.

Ever worn a kilt? I had one as a child complete with pin but scorched it sitting too close to the fire
