Actually I got the first Yule present yesterday....saw summat for DIL that she would like so I got it and stashed it away.

Just made a ginormous fish pie and an apple and rhubarb crumble. Mini twass and one pal arrive tonight, the other pal tomorrow morning. I made the second friend her own individual fish pie cos she loves my fish pie THAT much *insert smug smiley*

Grey and dingy day here. All my black washing from the trip is draped around the cottage Not had to do that once since Spring!!

Makes the place smell fabulous though. Do you like the smell of freshly laundered clothes?

Dunno, he is talking about a 'middle road' party. Perhaps he is going to form his own or join the LibDems

Is calling it Hurricane Matthew kinda trivialising given how many peeps are dead??

It makes it sound like someone's cuddly old great uncle, which it clearly isn't They should call it Hurricane Lucifer or something similar

Bliar would be wiser to keep his head down IMHO. Lots of folks with an axe to grind! He likely votes Tory or UKIP these days in any case

Speaking of axes I just got mine out to chop some logs, which was an epic failure, either the logs are too hard or I am too weak. Which do you reckon?

I've not heard it.

Have you seen that chip shops are being urged to serve smaller portions of chips to help the obesity problem? Supposing the pies in Greggs were made 30% smaller??

Favourite thing from Greggs??

nope...but it`s good stuff....although I haven`t made any for a day or two due to nursing a injured son

nursing injured sons can be trying....especially when they don`t listen to sound advice about covering the dressing afor having a shower etc etc etc.......And youz been telling em they has prolly broken a rib or two and perhaps it might be a good idea to go and see the Gp for advice, but they don`t listen...and then today they says...`I think I`ve broken a rib or two ...and appointments at the GP`s are well nigh impossible to get cors it`s Friday an all that..........I could go on but I don`t wanna bore you cors I feels I already has

is I ranting somewot?

Falling orf his bike!

Mini twass left her bag on the train After frantic phoning of train companies, we are going to go to Margate station in the morning to see if it got found on the train. I'm not holding me breath. Luckily nowt important in it except a few clothes and ladies stuff

We're full of fish pie and crumble and wine. I am a bit the worse for it as it happens ....well it is Friday night. Have you had a few?
