We are delighted to see you this morning

twassington
07-10-2016
Yes please! Is it McVities or home made?
silentNate
07-10-2016
McVities... reduced to clear now that Iceland has filled it's shelves with Chrimbo stock!

Started shopping for the winter festival yet??
twassington
07-10-2016
Actually I got the first Yule present yesterday....saw summat for DIL that she would like so I got it and stashed it away.

Just made a ginormous fish pie and an apple and rhubarb crumble. Mini twass and one pal arrive tonight, the other pal tomorrow morning. I made the second friend her own individual fish pie cos she loves my fish pie THAT much *insert smug smiley*

Grey and dingy day here. All my black washing from the trip is draped around the cottage Not had to do that once since Spring!!

Makes the place smell fabulous though. Do you like the smell of freshly laundered clothes?
silentNate
07-10-2016
Yes. I love the smell of fish pie too

Should Tony B Liar return to politics??
twassington
07-10-2016
Not unless he has a death wish.....

Also....which party would he represent?
silentNate
07-10-2016
Dunno, he is talking about a 'middle road' party. Perhaps he is going to form his own or join the LibDems

Is calling it Hurricane Matthew kinda trivialising given how many peeps are dead??
twassington
07-10-2016
It makes it sound like someone's cuddly old great uncle, which it clearly isn't They should call it Hurricane Lucifer or something similar

Bliar would be wiser to keep his head down IMHO. Lots of folks with an axe to grind! He likely votes Tory or UKIP these days in any case

Speaking of axes I just got mine out to chop some logs, which was an epic failure, either the logs are too hard or I am too weak. Which do you reckon?
farmer bob
07-10-2016
Sharpen your axe perhaps?
twassington
07-10-2016
For Bliar's neck or the logs?
Gregg-Pieman9
07-10-2016
Do you like the new Bruno Mars song 24K Magic
twassington
07-10-2016
I've not heard it.

Have you seen that chip shops are being urged to serve smaller portions of chips to help the obesity problem? Supposing the pies in Greggs were made 30% smaller??
silentNate
07-10-2016
If they made the Cornish pasties in Greggs any smaller I'd be livid!

Favourite thing from Greggs??
Gregg-Pieman9
07-10-2016
Lattes

Do you drink coffee after 6-00pm
twassington
07-10-2016
Not usually.

Ever heard of a turmeric latte? Mini twass had one the other day in London apparently!
silentNate
07-10-2016
FFS! Do you work for the turmeric promotional council or summat??
hooter
07-10-2016
nope...but it`s good stuff....although I haven`t made any for a day or two due to nursing a injured son

nursing injured sons can be trying....especially when they don`t listen to sound advice about covering the dressing afor having a shower etc etc etc.......And youz been telling em they has prolly broken a rib or two and perhaps it might be a good idea to go and see the Gp for advice, but they don`t listen...and then today they says...`I think I`ve broken a rib or two ...and appointments at the GP`s are well nigh impossible to get cors it`s Friday an all that..........I could go on but I don`t wanna bore you cors I feels I already has

is I ranting somewot?
silentNate
07-10-2016
Nah, just got off the phone to my mother... now that was ranting!

How did he crack his ribs??
twassington
07-10-2016
Falling orf his bike!

Mini twass left her bag on the train After frantic phoning of train companies, we are going to go to Margate station in the morning to see if it got found on the train. I'm not holding me breath. Luckily nowt important in it except a few clothes and ladies stuff

We're full of fish pie and crumble and wine. I am a bit the worse for it as it happens ....well it is Friday night. Have you had a few?
farmer bob
07-10-2016
We had a particularly nice Sauvignon Blanc earlier, called NED. Named after a hill in NZ or something

Did you watch Still Game on BBC 1 earlier??
silentNate
07-10-2016
No. Was it shite??
farmer bob
07-10-2016
No, raised a few chuckles. Good to have it back on screen.

Do you enjoy the comfort of a plaid shirt, when relaxing on the weekend??
silentNate
08-10-2016

hooter
