My house guests made the most awesome pancakes for breakfast....lots of melted butter and sugar in the batter which I never do, mine are just egg, flour and milk...these were FABULOUS! Mini twass can bring her pals any time

Cos they've all been ate

Just dragged the winter wardrobe out from under the beds, and packed away the summer things. Tomorrow the heavier quilt will go on the bed... and the lecky blanky!

Glorious sun has now come out, just to make a mockery of that......who's got the kettle on?

Yes of course it is! And no, I haven't and never will. Extortionate amount! My friend found a tiny festival for next year, only £45 for three days camping and music. Beat that

Ever played a didgeridoo?

I was forced to yesterday by mini twass who feels the cold being a skinny minnie. No heating on today and not lit the fire either...I'm perfectly warm enough!

I was glad the heating actually worked.....it is quite an old system.

Do you bleed the radiators?

Granddaughter was helping me cut the hedge today....wasn`t used to that sort of strenuous work and wondered why her arms were shaking.......we`d only be at it for about three quarters of an hour Fortunately it came onto rain and we went in and had a coffee.

Just a handful of crisps daily hoots. I am never in favour of cutting things out entirely if you loves them.

Fancy a bit of chilli chocolate?

Easily solved by adopting Humpty Dumpty's attitude to the meaning of words.

Can you suggest a new word that should have been strangled at birth?
