Ah, yes. The opera by Engelbert Humperdinck.

Do parents still read blood-thirsty fairy tales to their terrified children? Probably not nowadays. Apparently some sensitive, not to say pathetic, university student complained about having to study Titus Andronicus.

Ones out of a can, yes

Simply glorious afternoon...warm and sunny! A final little taste of summer before the cold takes over entirely. Been out pruning the ivy and other foliage while mini twass pruned her own personal foliage indoors Getting boyfriend ready By foliage I mean neatening eyebrows obviously

Are the days long past where you cared about your foliage?

The cat is thirsty, he's chewing the water out of your hair!

We're on the red wine and crisps and dark chocolate here. After scoffing a load of guacamole on toast

Crisps or chocolate?

Horses for courses. Chocolate is supposed to coat the tongue and deaden the taste of wine. So crisps with the wine. On the other hand chocolate with beer does not appeal. So, it's crisps with everything.

Does expressing a liking for 90% cocoa chocolate suggest a certain pretentiousness?

Mini twass took a great photo of it, we've been moon gazing. It's HUGE! And very bright. A Hunter's Moon.

THere are all sorts of bugs in the woodlands, fleas, ticks, lice etc which thrive on the wild animal population that live there. As we have foxes, badgers, stoats, weasels, hedgehogs and deer in Kent, there will be plenty of those sort of critturs as well I guess. However, only bug I have had any grief with in the woods was being bitten by a horsefly.

Why.....have you got fleas??
