Not if it clashes with Poldark!

Am nearly finished reading The Girl on the Train. Loving it Got it for nothing from Amazon kindle sales......I only hope the film will live up to it. Do you think it will?

Thatcher's government, post punk Britain, racism, the rise of far right groups....

America??? How can they do that when it's totally British!!! That will make a mockery of the whole thing Great book though.

Ever been on a canal barge?

I'd like to live on a boat, yes.....well I used to think it would be a grand life. But now I loves my cottage! However I remember mooring up overnight then in the morning, all the boats smelling of coffee and bacon in the fresh morning air!

A friend is hoping to buy a barge and live in it....not sure if he'll succeed in his dream.

Do you have dreams of a different life?

It wouldn't surprise me.....both the production methods and everything to do with the trafficking and sale are hazardous to human life. Although when it comes to drugs, the white is safer than the brown

Have you got Netflix?

I have indeed, beautiful voices. Remind me a bit of a female version of Fleet Foxes.

Mostly I prefer male voices to female with a few exceptions....which do you prefer?

Definitely female vocals, Beth Orton, Sinead O'Connor, Liz Phair etc. The odd male vocalist thrown in.

Can this mild Autumn continue until Mythmas?

Not all the way to Yule, I doubt it! But it is ridiculously mild for late October. When I was a nipper, Bonfire Night was always freezing and it's only two weeks away.....

Are all your garden flowers still blooming? Mine are!

Can you make a pom-pom?

Yes....make two doughnut shaped pieces of cardboard, hole in the centre. Put them together. Wrap wool round and round the two until you have a fat woolly doughnut. Cut the wool all around the very outer edge between the two bits of card, feed some wool between the two bits of card and tie it off tightly, remove the two cardboard doughnuts and fluff out the wool into a pompom. Et voila!

Is that how you would make one?

Bubblegum should be banned from sale due to the cleaning costs incurred by local councils

I was disappointed that Hong Kong allowed it's sale after previous ban.

Can you see Jusin Bieber's frustration in the audience constantly screaming at him when trying to perform??

He needs to get over himself, those screamers are his bread and butter. Carry on regardless like the Beatles did or all the others the teenyboppers went nuts for. If they can, he can.

I just heard an owl hoot and it's not four o'clock yet Isn't that a bit early?

The Orionids should be visible tonight, especially over Northern England. And for a few nights hence If the skies are clear enough.

Are you patient enough to scan the skies for the chance to catch maybe one every twenty minutes?
