I didn't know that about Pete But I guess it goes with his flamboyant nature and don't give a f***ness.

Ever been to Kew Gardens?”

A few weeks back when mini twass's friends came to stay the weekend.

She shocked me the other night by saying she was thinking of going vegan I like vegan food but so many of my best recipes involve eggs, cheese and fish....

Ever seen a grey/blue pumpkin? I just got one at the farm shop....gorgeous colour!
silentNate

I think I saw one in a Whole Foods in Cali once Ever shopped at Whole Foods??
twassington
25-10-2016
No, never heard of them.... these were the farm shop's own home grown, covered in mud in a big pile out front of the shop. Among them were a few of these awesome coloured ones. I'm assuming they are orange inside Well, will find out soon enough!

75p a pop is well cheap for a pumpkin, isn't it?
silentNate

75p too much in my book

I like pumpkin pie in small doses but could happily live without pumpkin at all

Eaten a purple carrot??
twassington
25-10-2016
No, I've seen them in posey shops though. Do they taste like regular carrots?
silentNate
25-10-2016
I presume so!

Have you seen footage of the cat invading the Turkish News studio??
twassington
25-10-2016
How CUTE!!! I'm amazed he could control himself enough not to stroke it and start talking baby talk

Do you talk baby talk to ickle puddy tats?
silentNate
25-10-2016
Perhaps

What's for dinner??
twassington
25-10-2016
Stew with cabbage followed by rice pudding and jam. I can hear you gagging

What's yours?
silentNate
25-10-2016
Stuffed pepper iirc

Spoiler
I'm afraid to ask my wife as I'm not sure I was listening when she told me!

Are you a good liar??
twassington
25-10-2016
No, rubbish. People can always tell as I can't look them in the eyes and tell a whopping porky!

Why is it that sometimes two quite strikingly good looking parents will have extremely plain offspring?

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Have you ever met the beholder?
twassington
25-10-2016
I see it in that shiny thing in the bathroom

Alice in Wonderland or Alice Through the Looking Glass?

As someone wished at the marriage of Marilyn Monroe and Arthur Miller, that their children had Arthur's looks and Marilyn's brains.

So, who do you look like, father mother (or possibly the milkman ).
hoppyuppy
25-10-2016
I want to pick the chronicles of Narnia! But both of yours.

Will I enjoy Saturday night?
tanstaafl
25-10-2016
The Looking Glass, 'cos it contains Jabberwocky.

Can you quote Jabberwocky?
twassington
25-10-2016
I can. All of it. The reason being, when dad got drunk [most weekends] he would spout poetry and one of his faves was Jabberwocky. With very theatrical gestures and thumpings on the table

My DS userame used to be twas brilig, but back when you could change your name, I turned it into twassington! That was in Dad's honour

Can you?
tanstaafl
25-10-2016
Only the first verse and various random lines, I'm afraid.

I like to recite 'Twinkle, twinkle little bat' to the grandchildren, which probably explains the strange looks I get.
twassington
25-10-2016
Did you forget something there, tans??
silentNate
25-10-2016
Forgetting the question seems awfully common these days

Favourite Chris??
