Yes, and I still do - we didn't have a single trick-or-treater all night. (And, since it's 8.35pm, I doubt that's going to change.)

Have you played the game that lies behind the Google doodle?

Now THAT's a game I'd like to play! Garden Plants vs Predators.

I have much work to do clearing up after yesterday......but it was great

My neighbour is returning to help in the garden today once more.....he's a brave man attacking the mountain of weeds that half of it is But I need to take it back from the wilderness that grew when I did my foot in.

Do you own wellington boots?

On a high shelf!

I had about 9 hours kip! But then I can kip for England and most of the Northern hemisphere My welly still has the hole in the sole from the nail that went through into my foot earlier this year......but otherwise are perfect. Having packed an innersole into it, it seems to keep the water out. Should i just fork out for a new pair?

It's a load colder than yesterday for sure. This is more like a November temperature. I have three layers on, one of them thermal And am considering a fourth!

Yes, I will wait for a sale for sure, wellies are not that cheap these days! I got this pair online for about £6 two years ago and now they all seem to be about £20

Marmite on toast anyone?

Toast is not a precise thing especially when you are hacking it off a rustic loaf like I do You'll have it how it comes and like it

All of a sudden, the leaves seem to have changed colour overnight and now they are falling thick as rain from the trees. Do you still kick the leaves up and shuffle through the drifts like you did as a kid?

♫ Oh Danny Boy, the crisps, the crisps are calling ♫

Does having two packets of crisps in rapid succession count as greed?
