Of course, I'll get a bumper lot of tinned tomatoes in order to achieve a big enough shop to get a future discount

Never! I open them and if the contents look and smell OK then they're used.
If you found a can of beans with 1991 on it, would you open it or sell it on eBay as a vintage bean tin? |

I've seen them on films and TV but luckily never had to eat one.
![]() Last time I had airline food it wasn't too grim. Asked for vegetarian and it was a veggie curry with rice and a mini chappati. Usually I opt out of the food and take sarnies on board! Do you take your own food on planes? |

I was in three weeks once when young.
Other than that I have only been in hospital briefly, having my kids. Was your longest stay the one you had about a year ago? ![]()

It's pretty excruciating. Imagine trying to poo out a bowling ball with spikes and you sort of get the picture

Nothing very thrilling today I'm afraid. Jacket Potatoes, bacon and cauliflower cheese.
I'm glad Mini Twass is so much better Twass. I can't believe she would be better like that already. I was ill for months when I had glandular fever, I have never heard of anyone just having it for a few days like that. Are you sure she really had it? Have you got many photos of yourself as a baby and very young child? |

Yes I do, I saw those berries on a telly prog last night about foods of the future. They hope to clone what is in that berry so that sugarless foods taste sweet to us...but we don't get the bad health effects of eating too much sugar.
Fibro, my daughter isn't well yet, but feeling a lot better than she was [which was awful] and she saw the doc again yesterday, and will again on Thursday apparently. They seem to think an otherwise fit young person can in some cases mostly recover in 3-4 weeks and she's now in week 3. She can expect to suffer fatigue for some months though it seems.I've already thunk of what dinner will be tonight.....frozen breaded lemon sole fillet, peas and chips made in my magical air fryer!! Is it sad to plan your dinner before you even had breakfast?

Not usually no, unless it is a particularly interesting meeting but most of them aren't.
I feel a bit fed-up today and I am not sure why. I think that when I feel a bit low it is often other people that make me feel like that. Do people get you down? |

Not generally. My natural joie de vivre overcomes most situations
Just returned from vet trip and cat shop trip and bank trip, and discovered indoors is chillier than outside....but I have my trusty fleece of uber thermalness and the slanket for any sits. Also had last months lecky bill on the mat....brace yourselves......£15.73!!!! I broke my own personal record for stinginess!!! Get in ![]() ![]() Bought some odd bric a brac at the shop, I am a sucker for it, hence why this place is so cluttered......are you a sucker for charity shops? |

Marmite, then peanut butter, then marmalade
![]() If you put the butter on when it's hot it disappears into the toast....I like to see TEETH MARKS in my butter!!! Have you ever made toast the old fashioned way, on a toasting fork over the fire? |
