Every now and then but not in posh restaurants, the pub or a cafe usually.

Do you live too far away from town to have pizza delivered? I do
Rogana Josh
14-11-2016
The nearest town where they deliver pizza is about twelve miles away.

Have you seen the supermoon yet?
twassington
14-11-2016
No, she's hiding from me I keep hoping the clouds will part....

Moonrise was meant to have been very impressive, she looked her largest then....what time does it get dark now where you live?
Rogana Josh
14-11-2016
About just after 4 pm and I hate it, I loved the light nights. (Just seen the Supermoon through breaks in the clouds, she's lovely, really bright)

Do you like Winter or Summer?
silentNate
14-11-2016
Don't mind either, used to love winter more. I lean towards summer as I get older as health conditions don't make winter fun

You??
Rogana Josh
14-11-2016
Spring, Summer and Autumn, I love them all, but not keen on Winter, bad roads, snowdrifts etc

.Do you like Marmite?
twassington
14-11-2016
I love it. It's the black nectar of the gods

I love all the seasons, even Winter is beautiful in its way, although as Nate says the cold seems harsher the more years that pass Possibly that's my own fault though for not using the central heating and only lighting the fire in the evening

Going to be milder tomorrow....yippee! I shall dump the cat work and sneak out into the garden. Will you grab outside time?
Rogana Josh
14-11-2016
I really hope so.

Do you prefer Digital Cameras or Film Cameras?
twassington
14-11-2016
Digital, only as they are easier. I think the old fashioned sort probably give the finest pictures.

Have you ever used a fish eye lens?
Rogana Josh
14-11-2016
I used to have one.

Only have the existing lens with the camera for now , but a pack of variegated filters.

Mine's a bog standard digital job. My OH had all the bells and whistles on his including umpteen filters, different lenses, telefoto thingamajigs ........his dad has it all now.

He had one thing that made photos look like oil paintings! Have you seen that effect?

Edit: Elderly htc smartphone, second hand, bit past it's best and old technology now
Rogana Josh
14-11-2016

How long before we lurch to the left??
twassington
15-11-2016
It can't come soon enough!!

Woke this morning thinking I could hear an intruder Well, I did...something quite BIG is tromping about in the ceiling between the ground and first floor It can only be a rat or a squirrel or similar......how on earth did it get in there?
hooter
15-11-2016
Up the drain pipe.......my daughter had rats running around between ceiling and floor last year. They got council exterminator out and had to put scrunched up wire netting in the top and bottom of the gutters and downpipes......poor you

Keep all foodstuffs in tins.

Blooming horrible.....the weather must be on the turn and they is seeking a comfortable billet for the winter.

Do we need to buy twass a air rifle to shoot the beggars?
twassington
15-11-2016
I couldn't do that But already protect all food cos of the meeces. So far no evidence at all they've infiltrated the kitchen. I will listen out for their heavy pawsteps and if they continues will report to the landlady.

Up the pipes, or up the ivy at the back, will be the way I guess. What a nuisance!!! Not a peep now, so maybe they went back outside again when they heard me banging aboot??
hooter
15-11-2016
Dunno.....best cut ivy back from bottom......

Why not shoot em......at least you'll know you got em........
