About 1.30pm. Toastie and an orange and a cup of ginger and turmeric tea

Just done a nice stint in the garden, very mild out there today! I saw a man in t shirt and shorts this morning Is this what we can expect from Global warming?

No, while it may be warmer you may find yourself wading through water as the sea level will rise

What's for dinner??

Yes I love cooking.

Do you watch TV cookery shows then make the dishes shown?

Sometimes have a try at them, but can make quite a few of them.

Do you know any chef's tricks.

No, she does like her cream, and butter though

Why does Nigel Slater get mentioned so infrequently in terms of TV chefs??

I think Nigel is a lot quieter, not as extrovert, as some of the others. Could be because he had a strict Father and his Mum died when he was a boy.

Do you like his TV shows? (Quite relaxing).

He's my favourite chef by far! I liked his autobiography, Toast. And he cooks lovely looking things without spending an arm and a leg unlike Nigella whose larder and fridge look like an appendage of Harrods

Do you own a bicycle?

It must be many years since I had that. Is that the one in the sauce or the dry bits?

I do if it's not raining! It won't get totally dry but it smells nicer if it's been out

Today damp things are festooned in the spare bedroom but as no heating is on the drying process will be slow

Do you own a dehumidifyer? I had one, but we had a crisis in the cat shop with damp so I let them have it

((((((((((((((hoots)))))))))))))))))) life at times seems very hard. We all know folks struggling with medical issues and it is hard to see suffering.

I think a nice cocoa and a Border ginger biskwit might be in order?
