You mostly have to queue to pay at the till in shops. And at bus stops, and for the cinema etc.

Have you ever jumped the queue for anything?

As a teenager I did this all the time, these days I sometimes pull rank and get seen quicker but that is merely for the benefit of those under my care

Surprisingly well. When the shit really hits the fan I keep it together pretty well I think.

I can't really remember the last time I had sago.

Do you remember when rice was no longer just short grained stuff, suitable for puddings, and you had to hunt out long grain rice needed for all this newfangled foreign muck, pilafs and such.

Not everywhere had it.

Yes, quite often. But I like the British classics as well.
