I have bees every year in the chimney. Also they've been in the granary next to the cottage for over forty years I tell them things. You're supposed to tell the bees.

Have you actually had an apiary?

Not often. Do you mostly stream movies as soon as you can and watch through your PC?

Yes, love it. Only had octopus a couple of times though. You don't see it often.

Only when my mother used to make it, many, many years ago. Layer of porridge (made from 'generic', loose oatmeal), layer of Golden Syrup and a final layer of milk.

Does anyone go for the traditional version, which I believe is just porridge with a sprinkling of salt?

My dad used to have it like that, but I make it with about half a teaspoon of honey added. So really not sweet but not salty. Salty breakfast seems a bit weird. Well it does til you remember bacon

I've made a vegetarian sausage stew with butter beans, spinach, butternut squash and tons of onions and garlic in tomato sauce. And a big apple cake. Have you cooked anything today?

No.

Salt on porridge is nice but I find it needs a nob of butter adding.

I prefer brown sugar, what do you like on your porridge??

I always have honey in but forget to get dark brown sugar, which is fab on porridge. And the knob of butter is the finishing touch

Do you add a dribble of extra milk onto your bowl of solid porridge?
