I've had snails in garlic butter sauce but not frogs legs but I would try them.

Vegetarian haggis - not joking! and Tablet something like fudge but better.
Arbroath Smokies a pair of gutted haddock smoked in their skin - its' delicious. Have you ever had Bulgarian food? (got it on holiday) |

Never had Bulgarian food, is it like Turkish? I love that.
I've had meat haggis, and Arbroath smokies are delicious....never had tablet though!! |

Prawns as well, and the occasional mussel.
When I was young you could collect periwinkles from the rocks. They were boiled and what was called the "eye" was removed with a pin, followed by the winkle. I refused to eat them! Have who collected and eaten shellfish? |

Yes, on holiday in France we collected mussels from the rocks at low tide, and I cooked them , delicious!
Do you know not to eat any that don't open during cooking? |

Yes, learned that early. I used to get moules et frites in France and it was a big pot of them and the liquor at the bottom was amazing.
Do you think the food's better in little local places? I do. |

Yes, food cooked in smaller batches is usually best. I always look for a small place rather than a chain or large restaurant. I've actually had amazing food at festivals from a small van! You can also get appalling food at festivals

If you count my local fish and chip van which comes to the village on Friday nights....the best fish n chips evah! Not greasy, really fresh lovely fish.
Ever had your laptop make a weird noise, then refuse to type anything?? Well you type but it doesn't appear on the screen? I had to reboot the bugger! |
