A combination of laziness, the cost, not liking pain and being unsure what I really want I guess.

Where would you have that tat?

Not in my experience tbh... I think things get easier to laugh off as you get older.

Am I wrong??

"Caitlyn 23/5/89" on the neck of a 60+ lady is not a good look, is it?

I'd rather have the DS Chat forum close down first!

Assuming that you did have one and insist on having it include a name in a foreign script. don't you agree that it would be common sense to check the spelling first (as a certain well-known "celebrity" did not do)?

Don't know who it is.

If you get one in Chinese or Japanese would you not be worried in case the guy wrote "You are a pr*ck" instead of what you wanted tattooed?

Not a snowflakes chance of me ever getting one......so ain't bothered. Like Twass , completely uninterested in decorating me skin with ink...too 'spensive. ,can think of a myriad of things I'd rather spend me money,. if I had any, on. Prolly regret wotevers 'profound', rolleyes,. thing I decided was new ,hip and different, almost immediately I got it done. So best leave well alone and leave tats those who want to appreciate em more than me!

Enough said...moves on

Ever felt the need for a embossing folder?

Beds are not made for leaping out of, the shock could be fatal.

Do you still own an old-fashioned wind-up alarm clock?

And referring back to post 14060, it was meant to be a little quizlet. The "celebrity" was David Beckham who, IIRC, had a tattoo saying Victoria in, I think, a Hindi script. There was a spelling mistake in it.

Got a battery alarm, tan, with a dial.

Do you think older things like wind up alarm clocks, valve radios and telly's etc. were better workmanship and lasted longer than the cheap stuff that is sold now?

Yes, it's the result of a throwaway society unfortunately, folks want things to be increasingly cheaper.

Neither thanks

I only own my phone as an alarm, but mostly I don't need one... woke at 6am this morning to the sounds of meeces enjoying themselves in the rafters I put conkers in the corners of the rooms to deter the spiders, the blooming mice have nicked them and eaten them!

Cup of tea and a mince pie?

Hank Williams , bob, nice to listen to something relaxing for a change and I think The Who used to use valve amplifiers. ( a lot of the bands today are doing this and buying old vintage electric guitars to experience the sound for themselves).

Country or Rock/Pop ?
