I'd love a nice hot mince pie with brandy cream. Do you buy brandy cream or butter at this time of year??

Not easy when their main ingredient is dried fruit which contains loads of natural sugars. I made some mincemeat in 2013 and still eating it. Seems fine....how long does it last?

Both in the past, currently still on the home made! There was plenty of brandy in it. That will preserve it!

Do you eat things that smell and look OK even if the sell by is in the distant past?

That is worthy of a 10,000 word dissertation, but sometimes.

Do you believe in the westworld? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2E_P90oTKa0

No, watching Masterchef, twass.

Do you get bl**dy annoyed when someone phones you about something irrelevant and goes on for ages during a program you are watching?

Yes, I loathe the telephone at the best of times and when I get a call during a programme I'm actually watching [since I don't watch much] I inwardly fume and seethe whilst being polite through gritted teeth.

Do you hang up on cold callers?

I do hang up on them, twass. This inane call is driving me mad as I wanted to watch Masterchef and now the program is ruined as I am still on this bl**dy insignificant gossipy call which I bl**dy hate as I do not gossip myself.

How do you avoid annoying phone calls?

It's impossible to avoid them unless you turn the phone off or unplug a landline. I've done both of those things in the past in order to watch things undisturbed. Then there's Skype through the laptop.....you have to remember to shut that as well!

Do you envy your ancestors whose only form of communication was a letter?

All the time It's easy enough to multitask this way. Not when someone's blethering on in your earhole on the phone though

Do you own a beanie hat?

Not living among cow pats and general farmyard muck, all I need for slipping outside is my trusty pair of slippers.

Do you keep your slippers until they disintegrate?

Yes, my oldest pair are literally full of holes None of them have a proper sole so I don't go outdoors in them. Because I never throw them out I have quite a few pairs.

Should I bin the ancient ones?
