Very hard to pick just one genre...I love so many!

Last thing I listened to was Bodhisattva by Steely Dan.

What was the last thing you listened to?

Amsterdam. I've visited Rotterdam and it really isn't as interesting as Belgium

Should we be concerned that research states that racial segregation is 'growing in UK'??

Yes, very much so. The only way forward is to integrate, to accept we are all one, to appreciate difference not fear it.

Every time I travel to London, I realise just how white and culturally Anglo Saxon it is where I now live. It's the only thing about where I live that I would change.....although I get the impression I would be the only one around thinking that

Is it the London effect?

Dunno, even Swindon seems multicultural compared to some areas outside London

I'm just grateful I live in the London bubble

Do you plan a week's worth of meals in advance??

Fancy asking a person whose idea of Sunday dinner is a frozen Iceland PIzza and two weetabix and milk!!! No, I sort of wing it from day to day and sometimes from hour to hour

Is there a strong frost where you are?

A light frost, very cold though.

I bought some golfing trainers with spikes to help me with my poor mobility in this weather

Do you worry about snow and ice??

Yes, I realise that the older I get the less I will bounce back if I slip over All my boots are so old, the soles are worn down and the grips gone. I have a cheap pair of trainers but they let water and don't keep my feet warm. I think I need some of those ice grips you can buy to put over your boots.

Don't the golf shoes make an awful racket on lino floors?

Well, I don't worry about all the time but I do take care when I go out if it's icy.

Do you remember the days when people cleared the snow from the pavement in front of their house? This was in the days when you didn't have to worry about possibly being sued if someone then slipped. Ministers making vague statements (as happened a few years ago) about, don't worry, it won't happen, didn't exactly inspire confidence.

My dad always cleared the snow both in front of our house, and put fire ashes on the pavement to prevent the ice forming, but did our elderly neighbours as well. Ex Mr Twass would do our bit and that was it *rolls eyes* He was never very community spirited As for Splint, my dearly beloved, he just fell over in the snow. Regularly

Is it a shock when you find your bank account has a lot less in it than you'd expected? I forgot my son's birthday cheque

Not brought in the holly and ivy yet as I want it looking nice and fresh around the solstice. But all else is sorted It's far from an ocean of glitter though. I like the understated look

Blinking meeces nibbled the chocolate money I won at the pub quiz Should I bait their humane trap with the rest of it rather than peanut butter which is in there at the moment?

I used chocolate very effectively to catch them, Twass.

Would you use a humane mousetrap then let them away far from home?
