It was chicken and vegetable, more veg than chook. I didn't put enough chillies in...it was a wee bit bland

Is your steak pie home made, or a shop bought?
silentNate
05-12-2016
Shop bought I would expect

Favourite Scottish band??
Rogana Josh

twassington
05-12-2016
I'm not generally a fan of female singers but I like Courtney Love, Brody Dalle and Chrissie Hynde.

Who is yours?
Rogana Josh
05-12-2016
Billie Holliday blues singer (only ever heard her on vinyl or cd . Diana Ross and quite a few others over the years.
Ruby Turner singing with Jools Holland or Bill Wymans Rhythm Kings (Love Letters)

Vinyl or CD?
twassington
05-12-2016
Being a philistine, I'd say CD just because they are more convenient. Besides I have nothing to play vinyl on [although I do own some].

Do you own things you can't actually use?
silentNate
05-12-2016
Videos & DVD

Brody Dalle is an arse!!

Is anything as sad and as melancholy as Billie singing Strange Fruit??
twassington
05-12-2016
Possibly not.....

Brody might be an arse but I like her vocals

Are there any fruits you won't eat or have never tried?
Rogana Josh
05-12-2016
Don't like those little Physalis fruits got some and there were birds feathers and sh*t sticking to them

Custard or Rice Pudding?
twassington
05-12-2016
Rice Pud.

Nate will say custard

Chocolate custard or Vanilla?
Rogana Josh
05-12-2016
Vanilla custard for me, twass.

Gas hob or halogen hob?
silentNate
05-12-2016
Gas hobs are easier and more effective to cook on, as a previous short-order chef I know this

Ever worked in a kitchen, have ya?? Been a KP?? Sous chef??

I'd rather have gas, but I have an old lecky cooker here.

We have no gas out here in the wilderness!

When did you last have an alcoholic drink?

Did do many years ago, nate, as a part time job at night. Dishwasher, veg peeler, bit of cooking in a hotel in the South Coast (Kent).

Would you do it full time having the choice?
twassington
05-12-2016
No, it's blooming hard work

Which part of Kent? Not likely to be near me but interesting to know!
silentNate
05-12-2016
I've visited Margate, Canterbury & Dover. Is Leeds Castle worth visiting??
twassington
05-12-2016
I've never been to Leeds Castle. Took the granddaughters to Dover Castle last January. It was freeeezing!!!!

Fancy some stollen?
Rogana Josh
05-12-2016
Would'nt mind, twass thank you and I lived and worked in Ramsgate. Worked part time in a hotel at night.

Do you like German Markets?
twassington
05-12-2016
Love them! Have you ever actually been to Germany at this time of year to see the markets, or just been to German markets here in the UK? I've been to Munich, the markets were amazing So was the Gluhwein

Ramsgate's not THAT far from me but I've never been there.
Rogana Josh
05-12-2016
Its' at the seaside, twass lovely in Summer but perishing in Winter and never been to Germany just here.

Live by the sea or inland?
twassington
05-12-2016
I love the seaside AND the countryside. Living here I can drive to the sea in about 15 minutes so it's the best of both worlds really.

The coast here is absolutely freezing in winter it's true!

When did you last have a £50 note? I can't remember EVER having one!
Rogana Josh
05-12-2016
Going on holiday about six or seven years ago, never seem to see them now, twass.

Did you work in Kent yourself? (I was young early twenties then)
EStaffs90
05-12-2016
^ I share your answer. (This was about £50 notes, not the one about Kent.)

Is there any item of clothing that you don't like wearing?
