Yes, I always find those funny.
On the news an article about loneliness.....people living alone. I can honestly say although I've lived alone since Splint passed I've never felt lonely. I seem to thrive on solitude....although I do like SOME people just not masses of them. Days can pass without socialising and I'm fine with it. Does that mean I'm different from most people? |

Yes. I long for solitude though... work is so full on and London so loud that I sometimes long for some time to myself

Maybe it is....whenever I travel in London no-one really engages, no one looks at anyone, they are all just wrapped up in their own stuff. Locally I waffle down to the village shop and everyone wants to pass a few words even if they are total strangers.
I love solitude. Only I don't feel alone at all. I love working from home! I'm sure folk would be healthier and get more done if they worked from home. I feel sure it will be more common in future times for certain jobs. Would you change your job to something you could do from your own sofa? |
