Don't kill them. Pot them rooted and keep in a cold conservatory or outside the windows and few needles will fall....I won't kill one, that's why mine is imitation.

Can you crochet?

Maybe if it had been one of the big marches in London, but I'm still impressed.

Ever went on a protest march?

There wasn't a lot of point in wasting time and money getting the populace to vote then, was there! Other than to make out the people "had a voice". Well done on cocking that one up, politicians

Yes, I went on protest marches back in the day. Once with my infant son in his buggy despite the threatening police presence

A pink and gold sun is creeping over the trees....does this indicate rain?

I'd say it indicates a visit to Specsavers.

If a spec wearer, can you get used to bifocals?

I don't know, I've not tried any....I wear contact lenses all day and only shove the specs on for the short period before bed and early mornings. I suspect the bifocal route lies ahead though. Do they make bifocal contact lenses?

Hope you and Mini twass enjoy yourselves, twass. Nothing special planned for the weekend but usually go out for a run somewhere.

Do you think products made now have built in obsolescence?

Most of them do seem to, Rog. Back when we were young it wasn't so. I still have my Etch a Sketch from the 70s!!! And it still works fine

Do you have any stuff that old? Thank you for well wishes

I did not, twass I enjoyed Emerson, Lake and Palmer's music.

Built in obsolescence??? After I wrote that a lamp I had bought about 5 years ago packed in, I keep it in the corner behind me when I am on the laptop. Its about 4 feet tall with a gooseneck.
Put a new bulb in it didn't work, changed the fuse still didn't work, took it to bits and put it back together and plugged it in - and it works!
