Cats are most active at dawn and dusk, like most predators.

Do you think they are confused by artificial light??

Prolly silent....we"ve got roadworks going on outside the house with temporary traffic lights...tis like Blackpool illuminations day and night..and blooming noisy too... so that might have summat to do with it........I just wish the young neighbour that took on 5 cats would show some responsibility for them and I could sleep at night again..

After, please hoots. I like it to sit on top of a thick slab of Lurpak and I lets the toast get cold first so the butter remains intact

Does anyone else do that?

A month I suspicion He's an accident waiting to happen

Ever had cake made with sweet potato? In a cafe today, mini me bought us each a coffee and a piece of cake, hers was dark chocolate made with sweet potato, and mine was plain with Christmas spices with sweet potato. Both lush, both very moist, and quite delish

Never had sweet potato cake, twass, have had carrot cake and I know some people use beetroot in chocolate cakes. Went off sweet potatoes and butternut squash after eating too much of them boiled (Yuk) roasted (quite good) and made into chips, but th boiled ones put me off altogether

Have you ever had them chipped or roasted?

Yes, they are very nice done that way, the only way I have had them boiled is with ordinary spuds in a mash. Which was very nice too!

Another good mash is root mash with swede and potato combined. What's your favourite sort of mash?

It is apparently healthier than normal spud, if you want to lose a few pounds

We shan't be losing any, off to the fish and chip van in the village shortly! What will be your dinner?

Cor, lovely! I've always loved creme caramels. I rarely ever have one now. The fish n chips is so huge though, we never have room for anything else I say this, she's sat here suggesting we make chocolate brownies later

Do you always have ketchup with fish n chips?

Unless you're Belgian and, for some strange reason, insist on mayonnaise, the only things that should be applied to fish & chips are salt and vinegar.

Do you now (or have you ever) owned a genuine deep-fat fryer?

Usually end up with cherry tomatoes, but I like the beef tomatoes.

Have you ever tasted the tomatoes abroad (Spain or Greece)?
