No. I have a contract which gives me upgrades

Contract or PAYG??
Rogana Josh
10-12-2016
Same here, nate, contract. I was reading about some of those phones and they get great feedback.

Could you live without your mobile phone?
silentNate
11-12-2016
Currently?? Sadly not

I only got one while working for an agency, these days it's compulsory.

Do you find them an intrusive part of your life??
Rogana Josh
11-12-2016
At times they can be a nuisance, nate, but more of a benefit these days.

Have you heard of Jaywick?
silentNate
11-12-2016
Near Grays & Clapton??
chinchin
11-12-2016
The only Jaywick I have heard of is in North Essex near Clacton. I haven't heard of a Jaywick near Clapton or Grays.

Fed up with all this banning the terms 'ladies and gentlemen' or 'boys and girls' less they cause 'offence'?
twassington
11-12-2016
I hadn't heard of that chins. What's wrong with either term?
silentNate
11-12-2016
The terms 'ladies' & 'girls' seem patronising to me

Which band should play Trump's inauguration??
twassington
11-12-2016
Pussycat Dolls

What's happened to Picto?
silentNate
11-12-2016
Dunno... when was he last seen?? o
Rogana Josh
11-12-2016
Not lately?

Should they get a Mariachi band for Trump?
silentNate
11-12-2016
Excellent suggestion!

Favourite Mexican dish??
twassington
11-12-2016
Fajitas.

It's months now since I've seen Picto post anywhere I miss his ridiculous puns

Roast potatoes or chips?
silentNate
11-12-2016
Roast potatoes

Ever had them with sour cream??
EStaffs90
11-12-2016
Nope, I can't say that I have.

How much Christmas shopping do you have left to do?
silentNate
11-12-2016
I don't celebrate Xmas, I should get my wife something but that's it.

Is it a big deal to you??
twassington
11-12-2016
Not at all. The 25th/26th are just part of the season of Yule so far as I'm concerned. Not doing all the mad festive shopping that it seems other folks are! My kids and grandkids have presents and a couple of friends have had small solstice gifts but that's it. Mini t and I will likely open the presents on the 22nd when we get back here from London. Neither of us will have that much to open and we're fine with that

Just dropped herself to the station and now to have a nice cuppa tea and reclaim the sofa since she always nicks that when here

Do you habitually sit in the same chair?
Rogana Josh
11-12-2016
I sit on the same seat on the sofa.

Do you feel uncomfortable sitting somewhere else if someone visiting takes your seat?
twassington
11-12-2016
Not at all, I will gladly give up my usual spot to all comers. Tis only a seat!

Were you a fan of Morrissey? I say were as he's such a total knob now But I still love This Charming Man etc
Rogana Josh
11-12-2016
No, I wasn't a fan of him. When he came up here earlier in the year to The Hydro he insisted that all his fans could only have vegetarian food at the venue - w*nker!

Do you think other e.g.vegetarians should impose their views on you?
twassington
11-12-2016
No. It's for each individual to make their own mind up what they will or will not eat, and for what if any reasons.

In the same way, I don't feel anyone should try to impose their own religious or spiritual beliefs on anyone else. Would you agree?
hooter
11-12-2016
me usual reply when perplexed and doing much ponderage on the subject.............dunno

do you want cream wiv your mince pie or just as it comes.......?

just made a batch
twassington
11-12-2016
With cream please!

For example, this beautiful hymn which was written by missionaries who were in Canada to bring their faith to the indigenous people. I think they should have been left to follow their own beliefs. Each to their own!

But it's still a beautiful hymn, right? The priest who wrote it was killed by the Iroquois. Karma!
hooter
11-12-2016
cream it is then.....

celebrating me astounding winnage on the Ebuygum........want a sherry with the mince pie and cream?
Rogana Josh
11-12-2016
Sherry please, hoots

It is a beautiful hymn, but the poor indigenous people, who probably never even understood the French language, must have been thinking WTF is this?

Conquer and convert? What do you think?
