Many, many times Now I want to see it again

There are two monstrous buzzing critturs in my hoose, one I've trapped in the kitchen, it has a massive stinger....I'm so not going out there again tonight.....and the other is trapped in the bowl of the light here going round and round madly. It did get out once and flew into my hair ..... cue many rude words......but now it's back in the light bowl. If you know things could sting or bite, would you whack it with a newspaper or let it live with your karma intact knowing it could HAVE you at any moment??

Kill it. Our cats are pretty good at dispensing critters thankfully. They can live with their karma

ACK!! Neither!

If you can smell a bloke when he's halfway across the room that's too much aftershave, surely?

No, I tend to want to be ready for things, especially Christmas early, not that I always am though. These days I always seem to find it a rush at the end. There just seems to always be so much to do that I can't keep up with all that I want to do. I don't think I will even get any Christmas cards made this year as there is so much going on.

Do you think people are sending less Christmas cards now because of the price of stamps or because they are saying Happy Christmas to people on social media?

BTW; Welcome back Twass, it's good to have you back.

Xmas cards are not good for the environment and the price of postage is prohibitive

Do you care about the environment??

Very much, those cards I receive I am sure to recycle. Those that simply wish me solstice greetings by whatever method, are the wishes I treasure most

Is your place of work happy for you to expend your own dosh on their behalf but then slow to reimburse your expenses?

Tis the second full moon of the autumn equinox But yes, it will last all night, moons tend to do that

Just hauled out the winter clothes from under the bed and stuffed away the summer bits. Five months of winter togs! I greeted them like old friends

Tis gloriously sunny here though and quite warm.....have I put them away too soon?

I'd say not given how cold it is here

There isn't always a full moon fully visible throughout the night

Ever experience an earthquake??

Yes, twice. Once when I was six years old and we were just standing by our desks ready to come home and something felt strange and it was a very mild earthquake. The other time was about 7 years ago when it was a really strong one late at night. I was in bed and still awake and the bed seemed to shake and I shouted out, "What's going on?" as I thought it was my son putting his music on really loudly underneath me. Then I got out of bed and realised that he was in bed as well and my husband was getting up and we both realised that we had an earthquake. It was a very odd feeling.

Have you experienced one?

One in Wiltshire, on in LA and a couple in San Francisco. Experiencing the earth tremor in England was weird because there was a big fuss in the papers but it caused almost no damage. In LA we just picked up our glasses until it finished then carried on eating.

Have you seen pictures of the damage to Kabul??

[ Edit Nate - yes have seen some of the images of Kabul ]

Yes.... I experienced my first & rather strong vigorous earthquake in Wellington @ 6.5 on the richter scale
which was quite scary when the large spacious library shook and shook for what felt like quite a few minutes

[Very Sunny here and I am off to get ready to out - as I am leaving here in the next 15 minutes ]
Have you been out / or going out anywhere sometime today ?

When I got my bargainous set of Le Creuset pans from the charity shop in Summer

Have seen the earthquake pics - also felt one we had in Kent once, very mild.

Been to Lidl and they had really thick fleece zip up tops for £6. I am now wearing a dark plum coloured one and boy, it's WARM! Bargain!!!

Ever had a blue cheese toastie?
