extremely icy over-night...has been hanging around most of the day. The fog had cleared here so my son took me to the beach...extremely foggy there.

Leave the wood till the morning.

I'll check it out, hoots! Wood man's been, hauled in enough for a nice fire tonight and covered over the rest. Just as darkness fell...which means, where I live, PITCH BLACKNESS.

I love no street lights. Would you be OK without any?

Maybe once every couple of months or so.

I am downloading the Moonstone but being of a very slow IC it will probably take a day or so

Seen any Easter chocs in the shops yet? The village shop had Malteaster bunnies

I haven't noticed, it doesn't surprise me in the least. Are there any foods that aren't now available all year round?

I saw hot cross buns in early December The world's gone mad!

Could you hunt and kill a creature for food?

I have done , once, killed a rabbit a few years ago, hated myself afterwards.

Saw Christmas puddings in Tesco today, but nothing really on very much of a special offer, not all that much cheaper. No real bargains there
Have you seen any food bargains yet? Tesco had hot cross buns today, Twass.

I've not set foot in the shops other than the village store and then only for milk!

I wonder where Choccy is, she always gets the most amazing bargains.

Are you looking forward to Spring?

We have an azalea with big buds on it right now, usually flowers in May. Does any of yours flower too early?

I just reckon they flower when they want to.....anyone watching Raymond Brigg's Ethel and Ernest? So many parallels with my parents lives, dad was evacuated, the insistence on NOT being working class despite my granddad being a plasterer from Tooting.... The war stories my parents told all are like this!

For sure. Charming but very poignant at the same time.

Such innocent times! And I do love a cartoon, don't you?

Once only, handle smacked me on the forehead but didn't hit my face. I never leave a rake lying down now!

Has anyone ever written on your face while you were fast asleep drunk? That's not happened to me but I did it to a friend once

Regularly used to happen when my son lived at home....Used to open the living room door and find sleeping bodies everywhere and the airing cupboard denuded of blankets and sleeping bags. Same thing occasionally happens when friends have marital problems, but fortunately thesedays that doesn't happen very often.

Have you heard Debbie Reynolds has passed away?
