Tripe. Even the thought of it gives me the shudders. White and wibbly

What would you not eat unless you were literally starving and even then you'd hold off??

There must be lots of varieties of fish I haven't tried. I had flying fish in Barbados and it was lush. But loads more unusual foreign fishies! I've never actually had Dover Sole. I bet it's a lot more fabulous than lemon sole.

I have so much to do for the work xmas do which is on SUNDAY It aint all going to get done!!

Is November ridiculous for an Xmas do? And why did we not think to book the hall sooner so we could have had a December date??

Don't worry it doesn't have to be perfect.

We don't think of every detail because thinking of every detail would be too stressful and it stops us from enjoying the overall experience. Just enjoy it. Just remember mistletoe ...that is the most important thing for an xmas party.

What will your outfit be?

Well I now own two cheesy Xmas jumpers, one for this party coming up and I guess the other on the day, not that I actually celebrate it as such, but will wear it with son and DIL with whom I will be dining either in their house or mine - yet to be decided - hopefully theirs as less work for me

I've seen loads of folk out and about in the lairyest of jumpers already, and it's only November! DIL's friend started wearing hers in OCTOBER!!!!

Has the world gone mad??

I suspect there will be grovelling.

Should the most prolific poster in this thread buy all the other participants a cake.

I heard one in Canterbury backstreets a few weeks ago, and just caught sight of the van turning a corner ahead with the bell out of the passenger window ringing away and the ENNNYOLEIRROOON!! being yelled out.

Will that die a death in the next ten years?

The wind is howling down the chimbley and it's as grey as Margaret Thatcher's soul out there but no rain as yet.

Are you doing anything interesting for Friday night? I shall be eating leftover cauliflower cheese and a lentil burger and I might ransack the glory hole to find the Xmas tree cos we needs it for the party. It will be right at the back under all the kindling and fire lighting stuffs and me tent and all the camping gear
