No, life's too short to worry about things like that.
I started dieting a week ago and amazingly have lost 4lbs. Trouble is now though that I am really hungry and am just tucking into a Kit Kat Toffee Treat which is really yummy. Why is dieting so hard? |

It is so hard because you have to be so disciplined in a time when sweet foods are so readily available

Nutrageous, although not had one in some years now
![]() I do feel for those people whose homes have been found to have a massive void underneath.......what happens in those cases if the folks have house insurance? Does that cover things like sinkholes? As a tenant with only contents insurance I don't know these things. |

"While insurers will usually pay for your property to be repaired, they are unlikely to cough up for any damage to your garden."

Indiana Jones!!!!
Interesting article....however, if your home got swallowed by a sinkhole it couldn't be FIXED as such...it would be a write off. So would you get enough money to buy a whole new house? It just says the cost of repairing the house would be covered.... also how safe would you feel living in an undamaged house where the garden was a mahoosive hole that was getting larger all the time? Would you try these??

I'm against the taking of life and culls in general....but there are way too many of them and they spread disease. If there was some way to make them infertile so their numbers would drastically reduce over coming years, I'd condone that. Put the pill into birdseed perhaps??
![]() I'd totally eat those eggs. In fact I am thinking of trying the recipe! I'll carve my two pumpkin heads today. I thought I might make one into a faery house. What do you carve into your Jack O'Lantern? |

Morning Twass, I don't know about the cat, you will have to ask Nate.
Lovely autumn weather again. I had my flu jab on Friday and been extra tired and now have a cold which is a drag. Son has day off and we are going to see "Pan" at the cinema and go to Pizza Hut, so I hope my cold doesn't spoil it for me. Do you have a flu jab? |

No, I don't think I fall into the categories of need to be honest. In the years when I cared for Mum I used to wonder should I have one [I took her for one] but I've not had flu since 2009 fortunately.
Trying to summon the enthusiasm to make a batch of rich fruit cakes for selling at Cat fairs. So far enthusiasm NIL. It would be a different matter if I was going to eat one myself. ![]() How do you motivate yourself to do tasks you really don't wanna?

Toss up between 1984 and Brave New World. Both fabulous and chilling in equal measure.
Are you hoping for lots of horror fillums on the telly this week? |
