You could do worse than tune in, to the aforementioned TV drama.

Have you ever climbed a 'Munro'??

A large hill, not quite a mountain. I'm guessing I've climbed one on the Yorkshire Dales or in the Peaks

Ever been potholing??

No, I'd be terrified But the views would be awesome. If I were in some sort of enclosed carriage it would be fine. It's the thought of just a dangling seat

I've never tried to ski. Have you?

I went backwards more than forwards ------ and brrrrrrrrrr -- it was sooooooooo cold
The best part was when we were sat inside the chalet with our hot toddies

Of course, I did a lot of swimming as a child

Did you have to do your swimming safety test where you jumped in and 'rescued' a brick from the bottom of the swimming pool while dressed in pajamas??

No - we had a swimming pool in our secondary school
We were not even taught to swim !!!! let alone - doing anything like that
Some kids could swim but I and other non swimmers would just get into the pool and hold the rails and kick our legs a bit or wade around trying to avoid being splashed in the face - till the hour ended - and then always dreaded the cold communal showersssss

When I was 12 - I luckily taught myself to swim in that pool - I suddenly worked out that
By holding my breath - I could lay face down on top of the water - then gradually do other things - once I knew and felt safe doing that

Before this - on holidays an adult would once in a while place their hand under the tummy to assist staying afloat
but this was not at all helpful as this made you feel like a see saw - tipping back and forth and not removing the fear of it all

What were your childhood outdoor activities - that you enjoyed most often ??

No - Luckily we don't get flooding here
But have just now >>>>> come in from catching my friend's dog Milo
who had just got out of their house porch and front gate - as their granddaughter was going back inside
Awwwww but He had a big funtime ROMP all around the Very Squelchy waterlogged big grassy field - directly opposite here

I followed him♥ all around on there to get him back home
after she had just given me my Sunday Roast dinner - as she has done since about 2005/6 - for 50 weeks of each year -

I have just changed my **sodden socks**

Have you been out today ??

I like to put ribbons and tags made from last year's cards on gifts. I must start to wrap them soon!

We had a lovely nut roast Sunday lunch and now dropped mini twass and the BF back for the train. He's a lovely bloke, I hope this one lasts!!

Are there many festive lights up near where you live now?
