Not now, although I did as a child....too sweet for me now.

Ten days to the solstice! I look forward to it not being almost dark at half three....don't you?
silentNate
12-12-2015
No... I'm looking forward to spring

Will the climate talks in Paris make any difference??
ChoccyCarole

yes Twassy I am looking forward to the return of lighter nights
and Nate - I hope so

The rain has just returned LOUDLY !!!!! here
We have had several lovely sunny days - during the week

Posting my previous question ---- for the 3rd time

"Due to posting at the same time as Twassy
can someone answer my previous question [ above @ 3-23pm ] ? [ thanks ]"

I would choose the fruited tea cakes, although if there was butter for the fresh white bread I'd probably have that

Would you toast the tea cakes or eat them as they were?
ChoccyCarole
12-12-2015
Thanks Twassy
I would definitely toast them and then spread each half with butter - [ like I did last night ]

The aroma is yum !!!! and that is before they are even toasted

Also had 2 toasted peanut butter and jam sandwiches last night too

Last time you had them ?

I tend not to have sandwiches but single slices of toast, I had one slice of cheese on toast and one of peanut butter on toast, but my jam is running out and I put most of what's left into the raspberry crumble [found frozen rasps in the freezer!] I made earlier.

Which is best, crumble or pie?
ChoccyCarole
12-12-2015
crumble - [ no air gaps

I don't normally have Pb&J on toast >>>>>> IN sandwiches either -
Last night I just decided to toast 4 thin slices - at once
2 slices put in together in both sections of the toaster
Then I decided to just toast the 4 outers once
hence for speed >>>>>>>>> I then opened the partially toasted pair and spread the filling on the untoasted surfaces - slapped them back together - and started munching on the 2 yummy toasties

Your fave toasted sani fillings ?
silentNate
12-12-2015
Cheese, tomato & onion

Tuna and baked beans make excellent toasted sarnies... have you tried that??
twassington
12-12-2015
No, not together

Don't the beans overwhelm the tuna?
ChoccyCarole
12-12-2015
hard to say --- passing your question to Nate

Do you ever use a sat nav ?
twassington
12-12-2015
No, never owned one. I don't trust 'em

Are newfangled devices more trouble than they're worth?
ChoccyCarole
12-12-2015
Some may be a right nuisance
But My small grey bordered Garmin sat nav has been a great help since I got it on about the 10th of April 2008 on Halford's just before setting off to Chippenham
in all the time I have had it has only let me down on one night - and that only due to a newly constructed layout of roads - leading to the Motorway @Chester to Liverpool
All other times it has been a huge help and reliable help especially on a couple trips to and from Chippenham down to Milton Keynes and various places in Manchester and Saddleworth Moor etc
That was a very isolated rarely used eerie spooooooooky slippery icy black moonless night
!!!!

Have you ever felt at risk or frightened on late night journeys in isolated places ?
twassington
12-12-2015
On a couple of occasions, yes. I do live remote, and travelling home in the dark and in fog, I've wondered if I will get home! With no streetlights visibility can be almost nil under those conditions.

Also I have wondered, if the car were to break down, not a living soul could pass til the next morning

However, so far I've been OK Do you keep water and a blanket in the car just in case of getting stranded?
silentNate
12-12-2015
I don't own a car.

Have you enjoyed the brilliance of Darth Trump??
twassington
12-12-2015
LOL! Don't try and frighten us with your sorcerous ways, Lord Vader Love it!

Darth or Jabba?
silentNate
12-12-2015
Darth. One of my favourite pinball tables is the Darth Vader one!

Is it OUT YET?!!??

Every think you will explode waiting for something to be released??
twassington
12-12-2015
You've about another week to wait! Have you pre-ordered seats??
silentNate
12-12-2015
Nope. I looked earlier but my wife and I can't agree on a date as I actually have something on when it is first released

Have you??
twassington
12-12-2015
No, I'll wait til the crowds die down. I hate a packed heaving cinema

Will you smuggle in noms?
silentNate
12-12-2015
These are not the noms you are looking for

Of course

Who is the rudest person you have met??
twassington
12-12-2015
A small and very spoiled child who pushed, shoved, screamed, told the parents to F off, kicked and spoiled a train journey for the rest of us

He was only about 3 Can you imagine what sort of adult he will become?
