You know I love it, I've been three times!! But currently the situation in that general area is like a tinderbox. It wasn't great when we went in October but it's a lot worse since the Russian jet got shot down.

I'd go to Turkey and I'd be proud to let them know that some of us stand hand in hand with them while also making time for visiting poor refugees

Certainly, I've never been, but given a choice I'd never go to a city. I much prefer the wild places far from anywhere. Iceland or Finland would be fantastic.....

Not funny. Neither is it funny to say you will visit Paris (despite not liking cities, natch) but won't offer support to Turkey. A fine country in need of support but lying just outside of the European border

Almost cremated.
I went to Turkey only two months ago, the only reason I wouldn't go right now is the war situation, if it was safe to go I'd go again. Paris is no less safe than London, any major city, but I'm not a lover of cities. It has nothing to do with culture, colour, religion, or anything other than I'd like to live to be a bit older. I feel very sorry for the Turkish and especially the lovely people I met there who worked in our hotel, but right now I wouldn't risk it. Besides, the weather's shit this time of year Wouldn't you rather go in Spring?

It would have to be a tie between Disney World Florida for Christmas 2012 and the cruise we had this year to Madeira, the Canary Island, Spain and Portugal.
Well, Che is out of the X Factor, and if Louisa doesn't win, then there is no justice in the world. Who do you think is the best singer or band to come out of the X-factor? |

I don't drink much tea, but if I do I like a strong cup, so enough time for a strong brew and/or stir/squeeze the teabag.

Deffo! I have a love hate relationship with snow. It is quite beautiful, but the cold can be bad and the snow nasty to slip on.
