Santa's been ordered not to come this year

Another of Robert Holdstock's I asked my daughter for a book called The Real Middle Earth: Magic and Mystery in the Dark Ages by Brian Bates. Hopefully.....

In the absence of a proper nutcracker, what can I crack nuts with? Sensible answers only please

That would involve leaving the house....I bought a bag of nuts, and I can't find my mum's old nutcrackers although they must be here somewhere.....isn't it always the way, I will find the beggars the moment I've scoffed the last nut?

Cashews !!!!

It was dry roasted .... and ohmigod the nut dust at the bottom of each packet !!!! But last year I became intolerant to the old peanut

Sunflower seeds but Pumpkin seeds aren't as horrific as I thought they'd be. Pumpkin anything else? Throw it on the floor and stamp on it till it's dead
