Another of Robert Holdstock's I asked my daughter for a book called The Real Middle Earth: Magic and Mystery in the Dark Ages by Brian Bates. Hopefully.....

In the absence of a proper nutcracker, what can I crack nuts with? Sensible answers only please
Dangermoose

I've got a hammer. Will that do?
Dangermoose
15-12-2015
It might be the more practical and sensible suggestion ....

Can't you buy a nutcracker or is that too easy?
twassington
15-12-2015
That would involve leaving the house....I bought a bag of nuts, and I can't find my mum's old nutcrackers although they must be here somewhere.....isn't it always the way, I will find the beggars the moment I've scoffed the last nut?
Picto

It's most disloyal of your body to be fooked up when you wants to eat things it can't handle Mine had better not be listening in to any of this. Don't get ideas, body!!
