"I'm never gonna dance again"?
..That's rubbing it in a bit for your farewell dance

... the way I danced with you is the song. It was nice to see someone dance the final dance out. Anthony looked so awkward last week and just stood there. As for Iwan

They did beautifully but that song is a downer and to do with infidelity so irrespective of endline, using it with Kristina not the brightest idea. Loved that Daniel alluded to how nice she is in real life and stuck up for her in his speech.
Cannot remember many of the exit songs from previous series but sure they could find nicer ones (and I love George Michael). Thank you for the music from the chorus onwards or Green day's time of your life (if you don't examine the lyrics too closely) or in DanODon's case something else irish. Ah well. Surprisingly as I was not expecting to, I will miss him. But poor Anthony did not stand a chance, no bugger could construct a dance round So long farewell auf wiedersehen adieu to yer and yer and yer and yer and yer, unless they do a piss take. |

Yes, I thought Daniel's defence of Kristina was really sweet.

Careless Whisper is not only about infidelity - it's also about gossip. Highly ironic choice some might say. It is easy to dance to!

I really can't see Anthony having chosen Sound of music as his? thought it was link to Film week. Today's tenuous link to 80s themed group dance? Can't see Kristina picking Careless whisper and Daniel would have gone for more of a crowd pleaser or one from his back catalogue?

I actually thought they would play Daniel's own song "I wanna dance with you " as their last song.

I wish they'd never introduced that new thing a couple of years ago where the farewell dance is followed by all the fellow couples commenting on the outcome. Apart from the fact that the studio looks all sad and empty, it takes away the departing couple's moment

I was rather impressed and certainly surprised by Daniel's final dance. He looked quite at home leading Kristina. if only he had looked as confident earlier he may not have been leaving, a case of mind over mattter I wonder.

Wasn't as bad as Scott Mills' exit song, "Another one bites the dust!"

And there was me thinking it was about a man stepping on a sticky chocolate bar. When it was really a pointed lyric about homewreckers

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't he at some point say that he really enjoyed social dancing? It looked to me much more like a social dance which I guess is more what he'd be comfortable with. He did genuinely look great doing it, I though! Sad to see him to tbh and I never thought I'd get on board with him when he was announced as doing it.

I was under the impression that the couples chose their farewell song ... is that not the case? Most couples seem to have worked out what their last dance would be, in advance....

When I joined, they asked me which tune I would like played when I went out
You can read about her story of them turning down her request for 'Nellie the Elephant' then choosing 'Wish Me Luck As You Wave Me Goodbye' by Gracie Fields and getting pissed off when they actually played 'It’s Over', by Roy Orbison.http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...veals-all.html or http://www.express.co.uk/comment/col...e-the-Elephant |

Maybe they should use Genesis - "I Can't Dance" one week
