She did Maestro a few years back, where they learned to conduct. I don't remember her mentor being especially horrid, but she did put a lot of pressure on herself. I want to say she came 4th in the end, but I couldn't swear to it. Sue Perkins was fabulous in it. Goldie thought he was rather more fabulous than he actually was.
She was unlucky to get a first class twit as a mentor and he was horrid and did reduce her to tears in one episode . In fact he got a right ear bashing from some of the other judges for his disgraceful treatment of Katie .

For those interested you can see some of her episodes on youtube . Type in katie derham on maestro . Type in BBC maestro to see all episodes .

I think taking over from Brucie was scuppered by the Laila controversy and his dismal performance in Hole In The Wall
can you get "Bring on the wall" that wrong?
Didn't they try him out on "Ready, Steady, Cook" too? Does this man not know his onions?
etc

Like Claudia, Anton is at his best when he freestyles as opposed to when he is scripted/autocued. For that reason he'd be better as a judge on the show rather than a presenter.
