I love how whether or not she gets a good partner, she always make sure to make the whole strictly experience enjoyable for them. Her and Daniel clearly got along very well. I really loved her partnership with him tthis series and it's a shame that they left this early

I can't believe people thought she was faking her tears/being emotional. ..these pros have feelings and there's nothing wrong with being upset at your journey being cut short.

I know that she's very unpopular in this forum but I thought that a little farewell thread for her and Daniel would be nice.

She does seem like a genuine person.

Thank you. Exactly. ..she clearly gets really invested . It's a shame that some people attributed her being emotional at faking it. Smh.

Totally agree and Daniel made a point of standing up for her during his farewell - it is a pity they are gone as he has a great sense of humor and Kristina puts nice routines together

I think she is a good teacher and works well with less able dancers. Daniels' words about her were very compassionate and decent.

I agree OP. I wasn't that keen on Kristina last series but I really warmed to her, her partnership with Daniel has been one of the best surprises of this series for me and I'm actually sad they've been voted off so early!

I'd also like to add that I'm sick and tired of people taking such moral high ground over Kristina's private life, nobody is perfect and as the saying goes it takes two to tango. We shouldn't judge people without knowing all the facts and I think she seems a genuinely lovely lady. Daniel's words about her genuinely had me welling up!

A truly wonderful dancer and choreographer. I hope she is back next year with a good contender.

It was nice and very touching to hear Daniel endorse Kristina. She has the ability and does put every effort in to do her best for her celebs.

Daniel bowed out extremely gracefully and it was a very natural and charming finish.

I'm glad he did. I'm sure that they will remain great friends.

I thought their farewell was very touching.

Kristina is lovely and she has always been lovely. Last year her words to Claudia where so empathetic, relevant and straight from the heart that Claudia entirely lost it on air. It is shame that Daniel left so early he was beginning to find his feet - but this year the field is incredibly strong,

Great thread - yes, well done Kristina and Daniel. They've really come across as lovely, which is the real point of a show like this, and can be very proud.

I am sorry to see them both go. Kristina always seems to choreograph so well for the ability she gets and lovely moral support from Daniel.I don't mind Jeremy staying as such but a couple of others up the board are getting on my wick

I hope so. Flavia used to always gets duffers until she finally got a contender and won. I'm hoping the same ending for Kristina.

I concur. Especially with the last paragraph. Couldn't have said it better.

Thank you. I've always liked her; since she came to this show . She really is a lovely person and a very good dancer/choreographer.

I'm actually pleasantly surprised at the positive responses so far

They were a lovely partnership, I thought Daniel handled the 'older man, attractive younger woman' dynamic very well, and it was very sweet that he pointed out what a lovely person she was at the end.

Kristina had a real contender with Jason.

I really like her, and I don't think you can't fake that kind of sadness she had tonight.

My biggest surprise this year is how much i've enjoyed Daniel. I'm sorry to see him go and i think Kristina has done a wonderful job with him.

Shes always been humble, kind and gracious and her only downfall for me has been trying to justify her terrible taste in men. Sometimes silence is more dignified, but i've always liked her and don't hold it against her.

I thought Daniels words about her tonight were verygenuine and moving. I really hope its not her last year
Fred.

^^^^ agree!!

Kristina and Daniel reminded me of Kristina and John Sargeant - really nice, friendly, dignified relationship.

I'd like it if BBC bosses treated Kristina a bit better, by giving her a student that could potentially win. This really has been her worst SCD since she was partnered with goldie 5 years ago. Not happy with the BBC bosses treating her like muck this year and giving aliona a privilege.

Why on earth shouldn't Aliona get a good one after 3 years without a contender? Kristina has had chances over the years and not taken them.

Kristina had Simon Webbe last year - easily the best of the men. And she had Jason Donovan, a good ringer (though he didn't connect with the public) so she's had her chances.

Kristina is 38, Aliona is 31. As the body ages it gets more difficult to keep up with the younger generation (lifts, fast energetic dances).
